NEW IN / FASHIONARY

Am I the only one with the secret desire to become a fashion designer or are you familiar with this desire?
I know that’s probably not going to happen, but a girl can dream right? I sometimes feel the urge to put my ideas on paper and start sketching. It always turns out rather funny in stead of a ‘real’ fashion sketch like the ones you come across on the internet or in magazines. The reason why is because I suck in proportions. The head is too big or the arms too long for example.
So when I stumbled upon this very cute website called ‘Opschschrijfboekjes.nl‘ a couple of weeks ago and found this thing called ‘Fashionary‘ I was sold. It says to be used by many designers all over the world and I can see why; You don’t have to worry about the proportions! There’s a very light women’s figure printed on each paper which makes fashion sketching so much easier!
I was sold; Ode to the Fashionary!

But then I was thinking: ‘What do I want to do with these sketches?’. I decided it would be nice to put them on some sort of inspiration wall together with pictures from magazines. That would means I would need a nice tape as well. That’s when I found out about ‘MT Masking Tape‘; a tape that doesn’t leave glue rests on your wall. Perfect! I got it in Shocking Red Neon, a little wink to Red Reiding Hood ;)

So this is what I came up with. Like?

Lots of love,
Rowan

Ps: Did you know Opschrijfboekjes.nl is one of the little and the cheapest sellers of Fashionary stuff?
