I came across this awesome minimalistic nail art from the Spring ’14 Tibi catwalk show on Pinterest and decide to give it a try myself and I think I did quite a great job. The idea is to paint your nails white, provide your middle finger with a vertical black stripe and your ring finger and index finger with a horizontal black stripe. If you’ve got a very steady hand you can try to paint the stripes yourself with a thin brush, but since I’m not so much of an artist myself I put two pieces of washi tape (tape that won’t leave glue) on my nail and smear black nail polish on top. If you take the tape off a neat straight line will be left. Oh, and another tip: Keep your nails under a lukewarm trinkle of water and you’ll see that your nails dry much quicker then. What do you think of my creation?

Lots of love,
Rowan
