RED REIDING HOOD: Guilt free chocolate pie avocado cacao cake healthy raw clean recipe gezond recept chocoladetaart voedselzandloper

– 190 gram amandelen
– 130 gram ontpitte dadels
– 1 theelepel zeezout

Voor de vulling:
– 3 rijpe avocado’s
– 140 gram cacaopoeder
– 100 gram kokosolie
– 200 gram palmsuiker (of kokosbloesemsuiker)

5. Verspreid de vulling over de bodem.

Liefs,
Rowan

[english]

Last Friday my sister celebrated her birthday and therefore I made this guilt free chocolate pie with avocado being the secret ingredient. Yes, really. And no, that’s not disgusting. It’s delicious! You don’t taste the avocado, but it causes the pie to have a nice mousse like texture. You should definitely try and make this cake yourself, even when it’s nobody’s birthday ;) I got this recipe from Zizi’s Adventures, but I adjusted the amounts.

Ingredients (for a 18,5 cm spring form pan)

For the base:
– 190 grams almonds
– 130 grams pitted dates
– 1 teaspoon sea salt

For the filling:
– 3 ripe avocados
– 140 grams cacao powder
– 100 grams coconut oil
– 200 grams palm sugar (or coconut flower sugar)
– 2 vanilla beans, split and seeded

Preparation
1. Mix all ingredients for the base in a food processor until it becomes some sort of ‘dough’. If it’s too dry you can choose to add a spoon of coconut oil.
2. Line the spring form pan with cling film and press the dough into the bottom of the pan.
3. Place it in the freezer to harden.
4. Now mix all the ingredients for the filling until smooth.
5. Pour this mixture over the base.
6. Place it in the freezer to harden again. It’s ready to serve after approximately an hour. It should be firm enough to slice.

Lots of love,
Rowan
