Our very first Christmas tree is a fact! Vincent and I have been living together for only eight months now and therefore this is going te be our first Christmas at our own place. So last weekend I dragged (almost literally) Vincent to Intratuin to go Christmas tree hunting. The tree hunting part was okay for him, but when we came to the decoration hunting part I think Vincent almost reached a point where he wanted to kill himself, lol! I actually wanted to visit multiple stores to get decoration material, but I couldn’t do that to the poor guy. So I got everything at Intratuin and I’m pretty proud of the result! I wanted a black and white tree, since that would perfectly blend in with our interior and I think I did a good job. What do you think? I might go to other stores on my own as well, just to see what else is out there.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering: The cats don’t really care about the tree. Thank God!

Onze allereerste kerstboom is een feit! Vincent en ik wonen pas sinds acht maanden samen en dus wordt dit onze eerste kerst in ons eigen stulpje. Dus afgelopen weekend sleepte (bijna letterlijk) ik Vincent mee naar de Intratuin om kerstinkopen te doen. De kerstboomjacht vond hij nog wel oké, maar toen we bij het decoratie gedeelte waren aanbeland bereikte Vincent vogens mij bijna een punt waarop hij zichzelf wel op kon hangen, lol! Ik wilde eigenlijk graag naar meerdere winkels om decoratiemateriaal te halen, maar dat kon ik die arme man niet meer aandoen. Dus ik haalde alles bij de Intratuin en ik ben best wel tevreden met het resultaat! Ik wilde een zwart met witte boom, aangezien dat perfect zou inblenden in ons interieur en ik vind dat ik best goed ben geslaagd. Wat vind jij? Misschien dat ik in mijn eentje nog wel naar andere winkels ga, gewoon om te kijken wat er nog meer te halen valt.

O, en mocht je het je afvragen: De katten geven niet zoveel om de boom. Gelukkig!
