Last week I already told you about my (new) signature eyeshadow: KIKO high pigment wet and dry eyeshadow in 13 Pearly Plum. But you could also say I’ve got a signature lipstick as well and since lots of people ask me about it, I thought it was time to share it with you. Let me introduce you to MAC Twig. I usually wear it in combination with MAC Spice lipliner (see last photo), but for the purpose of showing you the true color of Twig I also took photos where I’m just wearing Twig. I love the dusky pink color and the finish. It’s a satin finish, which almost looks matte. It doesn’t dehydrate your lips as lipsticks which matte finishes do though. To me that’s a big plus.

You might remember my previous favorite lip combo: MAC Honeylove and MAC Twig (read my review here). I still love this combination, but the reason that it’s not my daily combo anymore is the dehydration problem. I think I wear Twig 70 percent of the time and Honeylove (with lots of lipbalm) 30 percent of the time now.

Vorige week vertelde ik jullie al over mijn (nieuwe) signature oogschaduw: KIKO high pigment wet and dry eyeshadow in 13 Pearly Plum. Maar je zou ook kunnen zeggen dat ik een signature lippenstift heb en aangezien veel mensen me ernaar vragen, leek het me hoog tijd om deze met jullie te delen. Laat me je voorstellen aan MAC Twig. Normaal gesproken draag ik het in combinatie met MAC Spice lipliner (zie de laatste foto), maar om jullie een goed beeld te kunnen geven van de echte kleur van Twig nam ik ook foto’s waar ik alleen Twig draag. Ik ben dol op de oudroze kleur en de finish. Het is een satin finish, welke bijna mat lijkt. Het droogt je lippen niet uit wat matte lipsticks wel doen. Voor mij is dat een groot pluspunt.

Misschien herinner je je ook nog wel mijn vorige favoriete lip combo: MAC Honeylove en MAC Twig (lees mijn review hier). Ik ben nog steeds dol op deze combinatie, maar de reden dat het niet meer mijn dagelijkse combinatie is, is het uitdroog-probleem. Ik denk dat ik nu 70 procent van de tijd Twig draag en 30 procent van de tijd Honeylove (met veel lippenbalsem).
