Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Bow ‘N Arrow – Available HERE

As I already told you a million times, I’m a big fan of matte nude lipsticks. So when I went to Canada last month I had to buy a couple of the famous Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick colors. I ended buying two in the color Lolita, since I thought I would love that one the most, and one in the color Bow ‘N Arrow. If I had to make the decision again I would have done it the other way around: I would have bought Bow ‘N Arrow double. I really like Lolita, but I’m absolutely in love with Bow ‘N Arrow! It’s my current favorite lipstick!

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Bow ‘N Arrow is just the perfect nude color and reminds me of the MAC Spice lip liner which I used to love so much (I’m against animal testing now and that’s why I don’t love it anymore). Something else I totally love about these Kat Von D liquid lipsticks is that they are super matte, without extremely drying out your lips. That’s a problem I often face when it comes to matte lipsticks, especially liquid lipsticks. Unfortunately you can’t really get your hands on Kat Von D products in Europe and next to that they don’t come cheap: this lipstick costed me C$24,-. If you are looking for a cheaper replacement though, I can really recommend you MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Tranquility (read my review here). It’s quite similar in color, although the MUA version is a bit warmer, and this liquid lipstick is very matte as well. I do think it tends to dry out your lips a bit, so make sure to use lots of lip balm before applying. So it’s not exactly the same, but it’s a very good dupe and costs only €4,99. I still think that if you can get your hands on it and your budget allows it, you should definitely try Kat Von D’s Bow ‘N Arrow though! Next time I’m in North-America I will buy the entire stock!

So if you’re looking for a beautiful matte nude lipstick that doesn’t dry out your lips, try Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Bow ‘N Arrow. If you don’t live in North-America or simply don’t have the budget, I can really recommend giving the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer Tranquility a chance!

Zoals ik jullie al miljoenen keer heb verteld, ben ik een groot fan van matte nude lippenstiften. Dus toen ik vorige maand naar Canada ging moest ik een paar van de fameuze Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick kleuren kopen. Ik kocht er uiteindelijk twee in de kleur Lolita, aangezien ik dacht dat ik die het mooist vond, en één in de kleur Bow ‘N Arrow. Als ik die beslissing weer zou moeten maken zou ik het echter andersom doen: ik zou Bow ‘N Arrow dubbel hebben gekocht. Ik vind Lolita heel mooi, maar ik ben gewoon verliefd op Bow ‘N Arrow! Het is momenteel mijn favoriete lippenstift!

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Bow ‘N Arrow is gewoon de perfecte nude kleur en doet me denken aan de MAC Spice lipliner waar ik ooit zo van hield (ik ben nu tegen dierproeven en daarom houd ik er niet meer van). Iets anders wat ik geweldig vind aan deze Kat Von D liquid lipsticks is dat ze supermat zijn, zonder je lippen extreem erg uit te drogen. Dat is vaak een probleem waar ik tegen aan loop als het om matte lippenstiften gaat, vooral liquid lipsticks. Helaas is Kat Von D in Europa niet verkrijgbaar en daarnaast zijn ze ook niet echt goedkoop: deze lippenstift koste me C$24,-. Als je echter op zoek bent naar een goedkopere vervanger, kan ik je de MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Tranquility zeker aanraden (lees mijn review hier). De kleur is aardig gelijk, alleen is de MUA versie iets warmer, en ook deze liquid lipstick is erg mat. Ik vind wel dat ie je lippen een beetje doet uitdrogen, dus zorg er voor dat je veel lippenbalsem gebruikt voor je ‘m aanbrengt. Het is dus niet exact hetzelfde, maar zeker wel een goede dupe en hij kost maar €4,99. Toch vind ik nog steeds dat als je budget het toestaat, je zeker Kat Von D’s Bow ‘N Arrow moet proberen. De volgende keer dat ik in Noord-Amerika ben koop ik ze allemaal op!

Dus als je op zoek bent naar een prachtige matte nude lippenstift die je lippen niet uitdroogt, probeer dan Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Bow ‘N Arrow. Als je niet in Noord-Amerika woont of simpelweg het budget er niet voor hebt, kan ik je aanraden om de MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer Tranquility een kans te geven!
