Last week was my very first week of summer vacation. I didn’t have to do anything school related at all, which I must say did feel kind of weird. I’ve been working my ass off this school year and sometimes even thought I was facing a burn out, so I couldn’t be more excited about summer vacation: 6 weeks of absolute freedom, YASSSSS!

Since I already left for a well-deserved family summer holiday on Saturday (I’m actually writing this from France), last week was all about preparations and doing some last-minute shopping. I visited my sister in Groningen, which I combined with a successful shopping spree. But I also did some shopping online. I bought myself a new pair of sunnies, which I absolutely love! But I also got myself a new skirt and swimsuit, but I eventually decided to return them both. They were just not ‘it’. Of course I also took a lot of outfit photos to keep my blog up and running during my vacay, so those will be popping up in here really soon.

Afgelopen week was mijn allereerste officiële zomervakantieweek. Ik hoefde helemaal niks school gerelateerds te doen, wat eerlijk gezegd best wel vreemd voelde. Ik heb keihard gezwoegd dit schooljaar en dacht soms zelfs tegen een burn out aan te zitten, dus ik was zeker toe aan zomervakantie: 6 weken absolute vrijheid, YASSSSS!

Aangezien ik zaterdag al op vakantie ging met de familie (ik schrijf dit vanuit Frankrijk), stond vorige week in het teken van voorbereidingen en last-minute shoppen. Ik bezocht mijn zusje in Groningen, wat ik combineerde met een succesvolle shopping spree. Maar ik deed ook wat online aankoopjes. Ik kocht onder andere een nieuwe zonnebril, waar ik echt dol op ben! Maar ik kocht ook een nieuwe rok en een badpak, maar uiteindelijk besloot ik ze beide terug te brengen. Ze waren het beiden niet helemaal. Natuurlijk nam ik ook veel outfit foto’s om mijn blog netjes draaiende te kunnen houden tijdens mijn vakantie, dus die zie je hier binnenkort wel verschijnen.
