It’s been a little bit quiet here on the blog last week and if you follow me on Instagram (@redreidinghood) you probably already know why: I was on Curaçao! It was my first time to the Caribbean and I absolutely loved it. Never in my life did I see such bright blue crystal-clear water and so many beautiful colored fishes. I’ve even seen a sea turtle! I filmed our entire trip, including underwater footage, so stay tuned on my YouTube channel for that!

Anyway, I wore exactly ONE real outfit during our entire trip, which was when we went to Willemstad. For the rest of our holiday I basically lived in my bikini hopping from one beach to another. Willemstad is the capital city of Curaçao and is very well-known for the colorful houses and the floating bridge. So being a true tourist, I just had to strike a pose at this famous spot. To sort of match the colorful city I put on the most colorful item I brought with me: my patterned velvet skirt from the H&M LOVES COACHELLA collection.

Het is de afgelopen week een beetje stilletjes geweest op mijn blog en als je me volgt op Instagram (@redreidinghood) weet je waarschijnlijk al waarom: Ik was op Curaçao! Het was mijn allereerste keer naar de Caraïben en ik vond het helemaal fantastisch. Nooit eerder in mijn leven zag ik zulk adembenemend blauw helder water en zulke prachtig gekleurde vissen. Ik heb zelfs een zeeschildpad gezien! Ik heb onze hele trip gefilmd, inclusief onderwaterbeelden, dus houd daarvoor vooral mijn YouTube kanaal in de gaten!

Tijdens de hele vakantie heb ik maar ÉÉN echte outfit gedragen, wat was toen we naar Willemstad gingen. De rest van de reis heb ik eigenlijk geleefd in mijn bikini en ben ik van het ene strand naar het andere strand gehopt. Willemstad is de hoofdstad van Curaçao en is beroemd om de gekleurde huisjes en de drijvende brug. Dus als een echte tourist moest ik natuurlijk even poseren op deze bekende plek. Om een beetje te matchen met de gekleurde stad trok ik het meest kleurrijke item dat ik mee had gebracht aan: mijn fluwelen rokje met printje van de H&M LOVES COACHELLA collectie.

Later zal ik een grote Curaçao blog post plaatsen met al mijn tips voor een vakantie naar Curaçao, maar laat me eerst weten wat je vind mijn van deze look!
