Sans Soucis introduced two new products to make your make up last longer: Face Primer and Fixing Spray. No fancy names, it is what it is. I like that. I happen to be a fanatic user of primers and fixing sprays, so I was very excited to try these new products of Sans Soucis.

Face Primer
The Face Primer should be suitable for every skin type and work as a hydrating serum which makes thin lines and wrinkles disseapear. You apply the primer before you apply your makeup and give it some time to get fully absorbed by the skin. I totally agree with everything they promise. The primer indeed nicely fills in your lines and wrinkles making your skin smoother, a bit like the famous Smashbox Photo Finish. It’s not a gel though, like the Smashbox Photo Finish, but more like a cream. It therefore feels more nourishing than the Photo Finish. A case of best of both worlds! I therefore really think the primer indeed is suitable for every skin type. It’s not so creamy that it makes you shiny, but also not as jelly that it works dehydrating. Since I now am blessed with a normal skin type this primer is perfect for me. I use it every day now!

Fixing Spray
The Fixing Spray promises your makeup will stay put all day long and next to that it softens and hydrates your skin. The spray should be suitable for every skintype. And again I agree it is suitable for every skin type. I once tried the famous MAC Fix+, but I found it too wet. It should give you a dewy look, but I found the result almost sweaty. I did use the Urban Decay de-slick makeup setting spray for a long time though. It’s perfect for girls with oily skin. When I still had oily skin (which I don’t have anymore after using roaccutane) I easily got a greasy face and my  makeup literally slid off my face. The Urban Decay setting spray was a lifesaver back then. No that I have normal skin though this spray is too heavy for me and even dries out my skin a little. The Sans Soucis Fixing Spray is a nice middle ground. It feels hydrating, but not wet. I can’t actually say if my makeup actually does last longer. Nowadays I don’t have to deal with sliding makeup anymore thanks to my normal skin. Lucky me! I do think makeup, especially powder, looks better after applying the Fixing Spray. So I definitely am satisfied. I also use this product every day now!

It’s no secret that I’m fan of these products! I have to admit they are a bit pricey though. Both products cost €29,95 each, which means it’s in the same price range as MAC. According to me they’re totally worth the money though.

Sans Soucis heeft twee nieuwe producten om je make-up langer te laten zitten geïntroduceerd: Face Primer and Fixing Spray. Geen fancy namen, it is what it is. Daar houd ik van. Toevallig ben ik een fanatieke gebruiker van primers en fixing sprays. Ik was dan ook heel benieuwd naar deze nieuwe producten van Sans Soucis!

Face Primer
De Face Primer zou geschikt zijn voor elk huidtype en werken als een hydraterend serum die dunne lijntjes en rimpels laat verdwijnen. De primer breng je aan voor je je make-up aanbrengt en laat je even intrekken, zodat het volledig wordt geabsorbeerd door de huid. Ik kan me helemaal in vinden in alles wat ze beloven. De primer vult inderdaad mooi de lijntjes en rimpels op zodat je huid gladder wordt, een beetje zoals de bekende Smashbox Photo Finish. Het is echter niet een gel, zoals de Smashbox Photo Finish, maar meer een crème. Het voelt dan ook voedender dan de Photo Finish. Een gevalletje best of both worlds! Ik ben dan ook echt van mening dat de primer inderdaad geschikt is voor elk huidtype. Het is niet zo crèmerig (is dat wel een woord?) dat je ervan gaat glimmen, maar ook niet zo gellerig dat het uitdroogt. Aangezien ik momenteel gezegend ben met een normaal huidtype is deze primer perfect voor mij. Ik gebruik ‘m nu elke dag!

Fixing Spray
De fixing spray belooft ervoor te zorgen dat je make-up de hele dag blijft zitten en bovendien dat je huid wordt verzacht en gehydrateerd. De spray zou geschikt zijn voor elk huidtype. Wederom ben ik het ermee eens dat het geschikt is voor elk huidtype. Ik heb eens de MAC Fix+ geprobeerd, maar die vond ik veel te nat. Het zou je een dewy look moeten geven, maar ik vond het resultaat bijna zweterig. Wel heb ik voor lange tijd gezworen bij de Urban Decay de-slick makeup setting spray, die echt fantastisch is voor vette huidjes. Toen ik nog een vette huid had (wat ik na het gebruik van het medicijn roaccutane niet meer heb) kreeg ik heel snel een vet gezicht en gleed mijn make-up er letterlijk vanaf. De Urban Decay setting spray was echt mijn redder in nood. Nu ik echter een normale huid heb is deze spray te heftig en droogt het mijn huid zelfs een beetje uit. De Sans Soucis Fixing Spray is een mooie middenweg. Het voelt hydraterend, maar niet nat. Of mijn make-up er werkelijk langer goed door blijft zitten kan ik niet zo goed zeggen. Tegenwoordig heb ik namelijk dankzij mijn normale huid geen last meer van uitlopende make-up. Lucky me! Wel vind ik dat make-up, vooral poeder, er natuurlijker uitziet na aanbrengen van de Fixing Spray. Dus tevreden ben ik zeker. Ook dit product gebruik ik nu elke dag!

Dus
Het is denk ik wel duidelijk dat ik fan ben van deze producten! Ik moet toegeven dat ze wel wat aan de prijs zijn. Beide producten kosten namelijk €29,95 per stuk, waardoor het in dezelfde prijsklasse valt als MAC. Wat mij betreft zijn ze de prijs in ieder geval wel waard.
