I’m very picky when it comes to most beauty products, especially lipsticks. But when it comes to mascara, not so much. I used to think that all mascaras did pretty much the same and therefore had no favorites. I usually just used whatever I got sent, because they all did the job. So when I ran out of my previous mascara (I can’t even remember the brand) a few weeks ago, I grabbed another mascara that I just received: the MUA Eye Define Volume, Nourish & Cara Mascara. And well, for the first time in my life a mascara managed to ‘wow’ me!

The MUA Eye Define Volume, Nourish & Cara Mascara is formulated with avocado oil, which I love! Because of the avocado oil this mascara feels really soft on your lashes. The avocado oil also keeps your lashes from getting clumpy, something that happens with most mascaras that claim to give volume. In stead of clumpy lashes, this mascara gives you beautiful long natural looking lashes. I love it! Avocado oil is also supposed to stimulate the growth of your lashes. I can’t really tell whether my lashes have grown over the last few weeks or not, but I like the idea of a growth stimulating mascara. And the best part? This mascara costs only €5,49!

Over de meeste make-up producten ben ik erg kieskeurig, vooral lippenstiften. Maar als het op mascaras aankomt totaal niet. Ik dacht altijd dat alle mascaras zo goed als hetzelfde deden en had daarom geen favorieten. Ik gebruikte meestal gewoon wat ik opgestuurd kreeg, omdat ze eigenlijk allemaal wel werkten. Dus toen mijn vorige mascara een paar weken geleden opraakte (ik zou niet eens meer weten welke het was), pakte ik een mascara die ik net had ontvangen: de MUA Eye Define Volume, Nourish & Cara Mascara. Voor de eerste keer in mijn leven wist een mascara mij te verbluffen!

De MUA Eye Define Volume, Nourish & Cara Mascara bevat avocado olie, wat ik geweldig vind! Vanwege de avocado olie voelt deze mascara superzacht aan op je wimpers. Ook weerhoudt de mascara je wimpers ervan aan elkaar te plakken, iets wat met de meeste mascaras die volume beloven vaak wel gebeurt. In plaats van plakkerige wimpers, geeft deze mascara je juist prachtige lange natuurlijke wimpers. Ik houd ervan! Daarnaast schijnt avocado olie de wimpergroei te stimuleren. Ik kan niet zeggen of mijn wimpers de laatste weken wel of niet zijn gegroeid, maar ik vind het idee van een wimpergroei stimulerende mascara wel tof. En het beste gedeelte? Dat is de prijs!
