If you’ve been watching my VLOGMAS videos (here), then you might already now that I bought these flared velvet trousers in Amsterdam last week. I was with two friends and we spotted them at a cute little boutique called ‘the Darling’. They were love at first sight to all three of us. Eventually I ended up buying them, because one friend unfortunately was too short and the other one thought she didn’t have ‘the balls’ to actually wear them. They’re the kind of trousers you either love or hate. I think most women love them and most men hate them, my boyfriend included: he compares them to ‘a curtain from the 60’s’. Oh well, I don’t mind. Men just don’t understand fashion, right? ;)

Als je mijn VLOGMAS video’s bekijkt (hier), weet je misschien al dat ik deze fluwelen broek met wijde pijpen vorige week in Amsterdam heb gekocht. Ik was met twee vriendinnen en we spotten ‘m bij een superschattig boetiekje genaamd ‘the Darling’. Voor ons alle drie was het liefde op het eerste gezicht. Uiteindelijk ging ik er met de buit vandoor, omdat één vriendin helaas te kort is en de ander dacht niet ‘de ballen’ te hebben om ‘m echt te dragen. Het is het soort broek die je of helemaal geweldig vindt of verafschuwt. Ik denk dat de meeste vrouwen er dol op zijn en de meeste mannen ‘m vreselijk vinden, dat geldt ook voor mijn vriend: hij vergelijkt ‘m met ‘een gordijn uit de jaren zestig’. Ach, het maakt mij niet zoveel uit. Mannen hebben gewoon geen verstand van mode, toch? ;)
