Slides: Adidas Adilette (available here for Dutchies and here for Americans)

It happened. Jullie hadden het natuurlijk al aan zien komen door mijn artikel gewijd aan Nike en Adidas slides van afgelopen week. Maar ik heb me nu dus officieel gewaagd aan de badslippers, of met een meer fashionable woord ‘slides‘, trend, gewaagd. Deze Adidas Adilette slides zijn nu van mij. En weet je wat? Ik ben er onwijs blij mee! Ik denk dat ik ze op een ziljoen aantal manieren kan combineren en vind ze vooral erg gaaf met slobberige pakbroeken (off topic: wat klinkt dat toch raar in het Nederlands, slouchy suit pants klinkt toch een stuk beter?). Oh, en ze zitten ook nog eens onwijs lekker. Leuke bijkomstigheid is ook dat ik deze zomervakantie niet van schoenen hoef te wisselen als ik naar campingdouches ga. Hartstikke praktisch dus! Met al deze voordelen zijn ze de schamele 25 euro zeker waard, dus voorzie jezelf alvast van een paar (hier verkrijgbaar) Adilettejes, want ik beloof je dat je ze een hit worden! Oh ja, en ik koos trouwens voor blauw/wit in plaats van zwart/wit, omdat ik eigenlijk al een paar zwarte slides heb in de vorm van Birkenstocks en omdat ik dit wel een leuk contrast vond in combinatie met een all black everything outfit.

It happened. Of course you already expected this, because of my article dedicated to Nike and Adidas slides last week. But I officially  hopped on the slides bandwagon. These Adidas Adilette slides are mine now. And you know what? I freaking love them! I think I can combine them in a zillion ways and I especially think they look extremely cool worn with slouchy suit pants. Oh, and they’re also really comfortable. A fortuitous coincidence is that  I don’t have to switch shoes when I head to the campsite’s showers this summer vacay. So they’re very practical! With all these advantages they’re so worth the shabby 25 euros, so make sure to get  yourself a pair (available here) of Adidas Adilettes, because I promise you they’ll be a hit! And by the way, I choose for blue/white in stead of black/white, because I already have a pair of black slides in the form of Birkenstocks and because I thought this would form a nice contrast in combination with an all black everything outfit.
