Om eerlijk te zijn wist ik niet zeker of ik deze foto’s wel zou plaatsen, ze zijn namelijk een beetje zwaar overbelicht. Oeps! Deze foto’s zijn (zoals je ook wel aan mijn ogen kan zien) in de volle zon gemaakt, niet zo slim nee, maar ik en mijn fotograaf/moeder hadden nou eenmaal deze locatie in ons hoofd en niet zo veel tijd om nog ergens anders naartoe te vliegen. Denkende dat ik de foto’s wel kon redden in photoshop hebben we daar dus toch maar foto’s gemaakt. Het ‘redden’ van de foto’s bleek echter ietsje lastiger dan gedacht, dit is het beste wat ik ervan kon maken. Eerst baalde ik er enorm van, maar toen ik langer naar de foto’s keek bedacht ik me dat het ook wel wat had, die overbelichting met het harde licht als gevolg. Best wel ‘edgy‘, als je begrijpt wat ik bedoel. Om een dergelijk probleem in de toekomst toch te voorkomen wil ik ontzettend graag een grijsfilter (check mijn camera stuff wishlist post van eerder deze week voor meer info hierover) en het is bijna mijn verjaardag, dus misschien wordt die droom wel werkelijkheid ;)

To be honest I wasn’t sure about posting these photos, since they’re a little extremely overexposed. Oops! These photos are (which you can tell by my eyes) taken in direct sunlight, not very smart no, but my photographer/mom and I already planned on shooting at this location and didn’t have much time left to go somewhere else. Thinking I could save these photos in photoshop we took the photos at that location anyway. ‘Saving’ the photos appeared to be a bit harder than I thought though, this is the best I could make out of it. At first I was quite bummed, but when I looked at these photos a little longer it occured to me that it’s nit that bad: The overexposure, which resulted in hard light, looked kind of ‘edgy’ if you know what I mean. To prevent this problem from happening again in the future though I really want a ND filter (check my camera stuff wishlist post from earlier this week for more info about this) and it’s almost my birthday, so this dream might come true ;)
