Ondanks mijn ongelofelijke verzameling aan schoenen is er toch nog een type schoen die ontbreekt in mijn kast: Chelsea boots. Dit zijn vrij simpele slip-on schoenen die zich vooral kenmerken door de grote stukken elastiek aan de zijkant en een lipje op de achterkant om ze makkelijk aan en uit te kunnen trekken. Ze werden vorig jaar al gespot, maar deze iconische Britse schoenen zijn echte musthaves voor de komende herfst en winter, wat bewezen wordt door het grote aantal bloggers die ze al dragen. Ook celebrities zoals Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung en Miranda Kerr zijn er al mee gespot. Ik wil ze ook! Ze zijn comfortabel en simplistisch en daardoor makkelijk te combineren: Twee kenmerken die ik graag mag zien in een schoen. Wat vinden jullie van Chelsea boots?

Although I already have a very big collection of shoes there’s still one type of shoes still missing in my closet: Chelsea boots. These are pretty simple slip-on shoes known for the big pieces of elastic on the sides and a slip on the back to easily pull them on and off. They were already seen last year, but these iconic British shoes now are true must haves for coming autumn and winter, which is proved by the high amount of bloggers already wearing them. Also celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung and Miranda Kerr are spotted wearing them. I want them as well! They’re comfortable, simplistic and therefore easy to combine: Two features I love seeing in a shoe. What do you think of Chelsea boots?
