A new product hit the shelves and I’m very excited about it. I’m talking about the Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go. It’s supposed to be the more portable and hydrating brother of the popular Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. I’ve held the oiriginal Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation many times. It’s one of the most popular foundations in the world. It should give a very high coverage without looking cakey (a rare combination). Unfortunately high coverage often means dehydrating as well, so me and my dry skin never dared to try it. Quite a bummer though, since I’ve always been very curious about this much-praised foundation. So that’s why the Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go is very welcome. I’m so curious about this new formula: The same coverage, the same durability (8 hours!), but more hydrating. Next to that the convenient packaging really appeals to me as well. You press the button, it gives the right amount of foundation for one layer, you look in the mirror and apply the foundation using the sponge. If Santa reads this, he should know I would really appreciate it if he could put this underneath the Christmas tree. The fact is that it does come with a price tag: for €46,95 it’s all yours.

Er is een nieuw product op de markt waar ik ontzettend benieuwd naar ben. Ik heb het over de Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go. Het zou het portabelere en hydraterendere broertje moeten zijn van de populaire Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. Ik heb al zo vaak met de originele Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation in mijn handen gestaan. Het is namelijk één van de populairste foundations ter wereld. Hij zou heel goed moeten dekken, zonder dat het er cakey uitziet (een zeldzame combinatie). Helaas betekent goed dekkend vaak ook uitdrogend, dus heb ik het met mijn droge huidje nooit aangedurfd. Toch jammer, want ik was wel heel benieuwd naar deze veelgeprezen foundation. Daarom komt de Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go echt als geroepen voor mij. Ik ben echt onwijs benieuwd naar deze nieuwe formule: dezelfde dekking, dezelfde duur (8 uur lang!), maar wel hydraterender. Daarnaast spreekt de handige verpakking me ook enorm aan. Je drukt op de knop, er komt precies genoeg foundation uit voor één laag, kijkt in het spiegeltje en brengt de foundation aan met het bijgeleverde sponsje. Mocht de Kerstman dit lezen, dan zou ik het superlief van ‘m vinden als hij zo vrij zou zijn om deze onder de boom zou willen leggen. Het kost namelijk wel een lieve duit: voor €46,95 is dit pareltje van jou.
