You’re used to see what I’m wearing on a day to day basis here and on my Instagram, but I never show you what I’m wearing underneath. Such a shame, since I own quite a few pretty lingerie pieces. Time to show them off!

Investing in pretty lingerie
A few months ago I decided to start investing in pretty lingerie. Before that I used to wear old, cheap and ugly panties, because I thought “no one is going to see it anyway” (except for the boyfriend of course). Although that might be true, I realized investing in pretty lingerie actually is important. Knowing that you look good, even underneath your clothes, just gives you such a great confidence-boost. You shouldn’t necessarily wear beautiful lingerie for men, but simply to make yourself feel good. Of course it’s fun to dress up for your man as well, but that shouldn’t be the main or only reason.

Three ways to show off your bra
And just to get back to that “no one is going to see it anyway” thought, that doesn’t have to be the case. Nowadays beautiful bras are allowed to be seen outside of the bedroom as well. There are three very tasteful ways to show off of your bra:
1. by wearing a sweater hanging off your shoulder on one side.
2. by wearing a top with low armholes.
3. by wearing a see-through blouse.

Jullie zijn al gewend om te zien wat ik dagelijks draag hier en op mijn Instagram, maar ik laat nooit zien wat ik daaronder draag. Best wel zonde eigenlijk, aangezien ik aardig wat mooie lingerie items heb. Hoog tijd om ook die eens te laten zien!

Investeren in mooie lingerie
Een paar maanden geleden besloot ik te gaan investeren in mooie lingerie. Daarvoor droeg ik oud, goedkoop en bovenal lelijk ondergoed, aangezien ik dacht dat “toch niemand het te zien zou krijgen” (behalve mijn vriend natuurlijk). Hoewel dat misschien enigszins waar is, realiseerde ik me dat mooie lingerie wel degelijk belangrijk is. Weten dat je er goed uit ziet, zelfs onder je kleding, geeft je gewoon zo’n enorme boost aan zelfvertrouwen. Je zou nooit alleen voor mannen mooie lingerie moeten dragen, maar simpelweg om je zelf goed te voelen. Natuurlijk is het ook leuk om je geliefde te verrassen, maar dat zou nooit de belangrijkste of enige reden moeten zijn.

Drie manieren om je bh te showen
Maar om even terug te komen op die “niemand ziet het toch” gedachte; dat hoeft dus echt niet zo te zijn. Tegenwoordig mogen mooie bh’s ook best buiten de slaapkamer gezien geworden. Er zijn drie modieuze manieren om je bh te laten zien:
1. door een trui te dragen die je aan één kant van je schouder laat hangen.
2. door een top met lage armsgaten te dragen.
3. door een doorzichtige blouse te dragen.

Mijn nieuwe triangelbh van Christine le Duc is zo’n bh die je heel geschikt is om op alle drie van deze manieren te dragen. Ik ben echt dol op deze fijne bh: het kant aan de onderkant, het gestipte tulle en het extra bandje boven de cups. Bij dit setje hoort ook nog een string met dubbele bandjes bij de heupen wat er echt prachtig uitziet in combinatie met de bh. Ik heb ook een kanten kimono gehaald met wijde mouwen (een trend die ik momenteel echt geweldig vind), wat er niet alleen goed uitziet op het lichaam, maar ook op een hangertje in de slaapkamer ;) Christine le Duc is momenteel absoluut één van mijn favoriete webshops om te shoppen voor lingerie. Hun lingerie heeft iets extra’s en heeft bovendien een zacht prijsje.
